The Boulders dropped the rubber game of their series with the Shikoku Island All-Stars by a score of 7-2 on Thursday night. The game was delayed by over two hours at the start due to persistent rain at Palisades Credit Union Park.

JD Busfield got the start for Rockland and allowed six runs in 5,2 innings. Shikoku Island got three runs off Busfield in the first inning following the rain delay.

Josh Turner tossed 2.1 scoreless innings for the Boulders in relief of Busfield.

Following this series, the Boulders go on the road for a weekend series with the league-leading Sussex County Miners. Rockland enters the series just three games back of the Miners for first place in the Can-Am League.
