The Boulders (17-18) lost 4-1 to the Cuban National Team (6-5) in the second game of the series on Wednesday night. Rockland received a great outing from starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez. The right-hander earned a no-decision after his six-inning performance, allowing just five hits and one run.

Matt Oberste hit his fourth homer of the season to give the Boulders a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning. After the Cubans equalized the scoring on Frederich Cepeda's fourth inning RBI sacrifice fly, the national team put up a three-spot in the seventh inning off Rockland's bullpen.

The series wraps up on Thursday at Palisades Credit Union Park when the Boulders celebrate Latin Heritage Night and Teacher Appreciation Night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
