The Boulders fell to Cuba 5-0 on Thursday night to complete a three-game sweep for the Cuban national team.

Pasquale Mazzoccoli made it to the sixth inning and allowed four runs in defeat. The Boulders couldn't get anything going against Cuba starter Yariel Rodriguez, who shut the Boulders out and only allowed one hit in his six innings of work. Offensively, Cuba got three of its five runs in the 6th inning to pull away to the victory.

Matt Oberste recorded both hits for the Boulders.

Following the sweep, Rockland is now under .500 at 18-19. The Boulders will play the Sussex County Miners three times this weekend; twice at Skylands Stadium on Friday and Saturday and Sunday night at Palisades Credit Union Park. All three are night games; tomorrow's contest starts at 7:05 p.m.
