Boulders Fall Short Against Sussex

The Rockland Boulders lost 3-5 to the Sussex County Miners at Skylands Park on Friday.

Adam Ehrlich got things started for the Boulders in the first inning with an RBI double, but Sussex was able to take back the lead in the second inning after scoring three runs. John Brontsema tied the game up in the fifth with an RBI double. The game remained tied at three until the eighth inning when the Miners scored the go-ahead run.

The Boulders will face the top-ranked Miners again Saturday, June 29th at 6:00 p.m. at Skylands Park.
