The Rockland Boulders (19-21) snapped a five game losing streak in style, topping the Sussex County Miners (23-14) 3-2 in walk off fashion. New shortstop Marcos Almonte made his Boulders' debut in style, homering off of Sussex closer Jose Jose (L, 3-1) in the bottom of the ninth to give Rockland the victory.

The Miners built a 2-0 lead in the fifth on a two run homer from Gavin Stupienski. Chase Harris cut the lead in half with a solo homer in the seventh, setting the stage for Almonte's heroics later in the game. Robbie Gordon (W, 2-1) tossed a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the win for the Boulders.

Rockland is back in action on Tuesday, when they welcome the Trois-Rivieres Aigles to town for a four game series. The two teams are scheduled to play a single admission doubleheader that day, with first pitch at Palisades Credit Union Park scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
