Boulders Continue Road Trip With Weekend Series in Quebec

The Rockland Boulders (32-35) fell to the New Jersey Jackals (34-31) by a final score of 6-3 on Thursday night at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls, N.J.

The Boulders scored all three of their runs in the top of the fourth inning. Matt Oberste's RBI single and Adam Ehrlich's sacrifice fly cut the Boulders' deficit to 3-2, and Grant Heyman tied the game with an RBI single to bring home Blake Grant-Parks.

Reinaldo Lopez started for the Boulders and gave up six runs – four earned – in 4.1 innings. Lucas Burton and Alex Fishberg combined for 3.2 scoreless innings in relief. 

After tonight's loss, the Boulders continue their road trip with three games against the Quebec Capitales this weekend.  The first game of the three-game set begins Friday night at 7 p.m. from Stade Canac. The Boulders return home on Tuesday morning to take on the Jackals at Palisades Credit Union Park, with a Camp Day matinee starting at 11 a.m.
