For the sixth consecutive year, the Rockland Boulders will be playing post-season baseball. The red, white and blue secured its ticket to the playoffs with a 6-1 win in Ottawa Tuesday night. Rockland's opponent in the semi-final best-3-of-5 series is still to be determined, but will be either the Sussex County Miners or Trois-Rivieres Aigles.
With Quebec's elimination from playoff contention, the Boulders now have the longest active post-season appearance streak among all Can-Am teams.
First round action starts with Game 1 presented by Sani Brand at Palisades Credit Union Park on Wednesday, September 4, in a 7:00 pm start with Game 2 presented by Lia Toyota at the same time on Thursday, September 5. From there the series shifts to the higher seed for Game 3 on Friday, with Games 4 and 5 if necessary on Saturday and Sunday. The winner advances to the Can-Am League Championship series.
