The Rockland Boulders (42-46) defeated the Ottawa Champions (36-53) 6-1 to clinch the fourth and final playoff spot in the Can-Am League. The win secured Rockland's sixth consecutive postseason berth, which is the longest active streak in the Can-Am League.

The Boulders jumped out in front early, putting up four runs in the third inning to grab a 4-0 lead. Rockland received plenty of contributions from their lineup, racking up 10 hits on the night, including two a piece from Matt Oberste, Blake Grant-Parks, and Chase Harris. Starter Jake Zokan shut down the Champions, allowing only three hits and striking out four over six shutout innings to pick up his fifth win of the season.

Rockland will look to build some momentum for the playoffs as they continue their series with the Champions tomorrow night. First pitch for the middle game of this three game set is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at RCGT Park.
