Rockland County, NY (June 18) – It will be a busy weekend at Palisades Credit Union Park filled with New York Boulders’ Frontier League baseball, fireworks, a gift for Dad on Father’s Day and a chance for kids to run the bases.

Starting Friday at 7 p.m., the Boulders begin a three-game series with the rival New Jersey Jackals. The series will continue on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. before concluding with a Father’s Day matinee on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

Friday night is Teacher Appreciation Day presented by NY529 with educators getting one free ticket and a second at half-price when presenting their ID.

Saturday, we continue to celebrate the 10th season of Boulders’ baseball with an anniversary coin giveaway to the first 1,000 fans courtesy of Clarkstown Coin and Jewelry. And, after the game on Saturday, fans can stick around for the Katy Perry on-field fireworks extravaganza.

Finally, on Sunday, Father’s Day, the first 500 Dad’s will receive a grill apron presented by Texas de Brazil steakhouse upon entering PCU Park. Capping off the weekend, post-game on Sunday, kids will get the chance to run the bases and play catch on the field with Dad.

Tickets for all three games this weekend, as well as each Boulders’ home game for the remainder of the season are on sale now. It is now too late to take advantage of ticket deals for the weekend and upcoming games.

Debuting in 1993, the Frontier League is the largest and longest-running of the modern independent leagues and features teams stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mississippi River and from the Ohio River to the St. Lawrence Seaway. In September of 2020, the Frontier League reached an agreement to become a “Partner League” with Major League Baseball.

As a “Partner League,” the Frontier League and its teams will meet on a regular basis with MLB representatives to discuss joint marketing and promotional opportunities, as well as collaborate on initiatives to provide organized baseball to communities throughout the United States and Canada.
