EQUIPE QUEBEC MAKES IT 11 IN A ROW AFTER WIN OVER BOULDERS

Rockland County, NY (August 26, 2021) – Equipe Quebec made it 11 wins in a row on Thursday night with an 11-6 win over the New York Boulders at Palisades Credit Union Park.

The victory completed a sweep of the four-game series for Quebec.

Quebec grabbed the lead for good with a seven-run sixth inning that gave them an 11-6 lead. Quebec took advantage of six walks in the inning, two of which forced in runs, along with RBI singles from Jeffry Parra and Raphael Gladu and two-run single by Ruben Castro.

Parra finished the night with three hits and three RBI, while David Glaude also had three hits, including a two-run home run, his 11th of the year, in the third inning that tied the game at 3-3.

Castro had two hits and two RBI for Quebec.

Milton Smith, Jr. had three hits for New York, including a three-run home run, his fourth of the season, in the fifth inning that staked the Boulders to a 6-4 lead.

Phil Capra also had three hits for New York.

Frank Moscatiello, the third of five pitchers used by Equipe Quebec, picked up the win and improved to 6-0 on the season.

Tanner Kiest was tagged with the loss for the Boulders, falling to 3-7 on the year.
