Rockland County, NY (June 27, 2022) – After a week away from Clover Stadium, the New York Boulders return home this week for a 10-game homestand that kicks off with a three-game series with the Empire State Greys on Tuesday, June 28.

The Boulders will look to continue their recent success at Clover Stadium, where they have won five straight contests and look to close the gap between themselves and the third-place Sussex County Miners, who hold a 3½-game lead on New York for the third and final playoff spot in the Frontier League’s Eastern Division.

The homestand will continue over the Fourth of July Weekend with the Boulders planning an extensive celebration that will include fireworks on July 3 and July 4, as well as a performance by the Ramsey Wind Symphony on July 3 and the return of WWE Wrestling to the Bridge Bar post-game on July 2.

First, though, the Empire State Greys come in to open the homestand with three games, Tuesday, June 28 to Thursday, June 30 with each game’s first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. After dropping their first 35 games of the season, the Greys finally broke into the win column with a 9-3 triumph upstate in Troy against the Tri-City ValleyCats on Saturday, June 25.

The Tuesday night, June 28, game is TikTok Tuesday with the Boulders encouraging fans to make TikTok videos either in Clover Stadium or about the stadium and tagging them @nyboulders for a chance to have them shown on the stadium Jumbotron.

The next night, Wednesday, June 29, is Cheapskate Night with ticket prices dropping as the game progresses. Tickets will be $16 to begin the night, but then drop by $1 each ensuing frame – for example, fans arriving after two innings will pay $14 per ducat.

The final game of the three-game series with the Greys on June 30 is Thirsty Thursday with beers priced at $2 for domestic, $3 for the mystery craft and $4 for craft. In addition, boneless wings will be priced at 50-cents per wing.

The Fourth of July Weekend brings entertainment to Boulders’ fans of all ages to Clover Stadium in Pomona, beginning with a single admission doubleheader on Friday, July 1 and running through the Fourth of July.

The weekend opens with that doubleheader on July 1 with the Ottawa Titans, first game at 4:30 p.m.; followed by single games at 6:30 p.m. on July 2 and 5:45 p.m. on July 3 against those same Titans, then wraps up with a 6 p.m. game on the Fourth against the rival Sussex County Miners

July 1 is Christmas in July at Clover Stadium with fans getting a free Christmas ornament. It’s also Canada Day for our neighbors to the North and we will help the visiting Titans celebrate their holiday by allowing fans wearing hockey jerseys to get one free ticket.

Additionally, as part of the Boulders’ Frontline Friday recognition series, postal workers who present a valid ID at the box office get one free ticket along with another at half-price for that night’s contest.

The July 2 game against the Titans will feature post-game WWE wrestling matches, while on July 3, gates will open at 4 p.m. for a performance by the Stephen Alexander Band. Meanwhile, after the game, a concert by the Ramsey Wind Symphony will accompany that evening’s fireworks' extravaganza. PepperJack the bat dog will also be in attendance at this game.

The weekend concludes on July 4 with gates opening at 4 p.m. for some pre-game musical fun prior to the Boulders' showdown with the rival Sussex County Miners - first pitch at 6 p.m. Patriotic Caps will be distributed to fans in attendance on a night that will conclude with another fireworks' extravaganza.

A special Firecracker Pack of four (4) tickets to any game over the weekend is available. For just $49, in addition to admission to that night's game, fans get a $20 concession credit, a cap and four additional tickets for any Tuesday or Wednesday Boulders' game for the remainder of the 2022 season.
