Chris Kwitzer's single put two runners on and, with two outs, Ray Hernandez lined a single to left to give New York the lead at 5-4.

The base hits extended MacKenzie's hitting streak to a dozen games,
The Boulders had scored twice in the fifth to knot the game at 3-3. A Garcia singled plated MacKenzie with the run that closed the New York deficit to 3-2; then a Garbella sacrifice fly scored David Vinsky with the tying run.
