Rockland County, NY (August 1, 2022) – Playoff fever has hit the New York Boulders’ fan base.

With just 30 games remaining in the 2022 Frontier League season, the Boulders sit only 3 ½ games out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Division. The chase for the post-season kicks into high gear this week with a six-game homestand at Clover Stadium that begins with a crucial three-game set with the Trois-Rivieres Aigles.

After winning 16 of their last 24 games, the Aigles have jumped into fourth place in the Eastern Division, one game back of the Sussex County Miners, who sit in third position and are currently holding down the final playoff spot in the division.

The Boulders will host the Aigles on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m., then come back for an 11 a.m. Camp Day matinee on Wednesday, Aug. 2, before wrapping up the three-game set with a 7 p.m. first pitch on Thursday, Aug. 3. This three-game set begins a stretch that will see the Boulders and Aigles tangle six times over a 13-day period with Trois-Rivieres returning to Pomona for a weekend three-game series Aug. 12-14.

The Aug. 1 game with the Aigles is Shark Week Night with select concession items selling for $2. In addition, tickets for this night’s contest are set at $10 and will include a $5 concession credit.

The Tuesday game is also unused ticket night where vouchers can be redeemed for entry.

On Wednesday, Camp Day, presented by NY529, Chestnut Ridge Transportation and Montifiore Medical Center, the gates will open at 10:30 a.m. This matinee, though, is not just for the kids as we will also celebrate Silver Sluggers Day where Senior Citizens can purchase tickets for $10 and get a $5 food credit to help them enjoy the game.

The final game of the series with Trois-Rivieres, on Thursday, Aug. 4, is College Alumni Night – wear your college gear and get a free ticket. It is also Thirsty Thursday with $2 domestic beers, $4 crafts and a $20 bottomless cup offer in the Bridge Bar to go along with 50-cent boneless chicken wings.

On this night, the Boulders will also announce the winners of their Boulders University Scholarships.

The homestand will conclude over the weekend with a three-game series with the Empire State Greys, Friday, Aug. 5 to Sunday, Aug. 7. Games times are set for 7 p.m. on Friday, 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The series opener on Friday is Augtoberfest, as well as Front Line Friday.

Upon entry to Clover Stadium that night, fans will find a Beer Garden set up in the plaza behind home plate. Meanwhile, the first 500 fans entering the Park that night will receive a championship plastic mug.

In honor of Frontline Friday, all law enforcement officers, with proper ID, will be eligible for one free ticket and a second at half-price; while members of the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department can get a pair of free tickets with an additional $10 ticket.

The Saturday game with the Greys will be a busy day at Clover Stadium with the annual Pink in the Park celebration, as well as the post-game popular Diamond Dig.

Gates on Aug. 6 will open at 4:30 p.m. with a performance by the Frank O’Casio Band. Upon entering, there will be pink t-shirt and flower headband giveaways.

In recognition of Pink in the Park, presented by Good Samaritan Hospital for Breast Health, breast cancer survivors will receive a free ticket to that night’s game. Meanwhile, a special Pink in the Park package is also available – four tickets, a $20 concession credit, pink baseball cap and four additional tickets all for $49.

For every person wearing pink this night, $1 will be donated to the Center for Breast Health at Good Samaritan Hospital.  In addition, there will be an on-field survivor ceremony with a balloon release.

For the young, this night will also feature the Princess Parade across the top of the Boulders’ dugout; and PepperJack the bat dog will be in attendance.

The post-game Diamond Dig, presented by Clarkstown Coin and Jewelry is always an exciting post-game event – and the chance to dig up a fine piece of jewelry; and the evening will be completed by a custom jersey auction.

The big homestand wraps up on Sunday with Italian Heritage Day. The gates will open at 2 p.m. for the 4 p.m. first pitch with pre-game musical entertainment provided by The Rummies.

And, as always on a Sunday, kids will run the bases after the game’s conclusion.
