Infielder looks to build on promising 2015

(POMONA, NY) - Infielder Ray Frias, who played in six games for Rockland in 2015, was signed by the Boulders today as announced by the team and the Can-Am League.

Frias was originally signed by the Boulders August 25, 2015 and hit .250 in limited action with the team. He drove in just one run but amassed a .375 on-base percentage and a .965 fielding percentage.

A Bronx, NY native, Frias graduated from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in 2012 after playing two years at Odessa College, helping the team advance to the National Tournament. A standout high school player, Frias had his number retired by All Hallows, just the second player ever to earn that honor.
