Butler Re-Joins Rockland

Righty Reliever Back for 2016

(POMONA, NY) - Right-handed pitcher Pat Butler will be back for Rockland in 2016, following a productive late-season stint in 2015.

Butler, a Chatham, NJ native, joined Rockland in August and appeared in 10 games, posting a 1-0 record with a 1.23 earned run average. The righty began last season with the Washington WildThings in the Frontier League before coming to Pomona.

A 2013 graduate of Connecticut, Butler was part of the BIG EAST championship team his senior year, going 3-2 with a 2.75 ERA in 24 appearances. That summer, he began his professional career with the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League before joining the WildThings.

Butler and the Boulders open the 2016 season on Thursday, May 19th at 7:00pm when they host the Sussex County Miners at Provident Bank Park. Season tickets and group pricing are now available while individual game tickets will go on-sale on March 26 via www.RocklandBoulders.com.
