(POMONA, NY) – On Thursday, August 25th, Northeast Wrestling presents “Rumble in Rockland” at Palisades Credit Union Park. Headlined by WWE Hall of Famer, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, as well as Cody Rhodes, gates will open at 4:00pm with a meet & greet from 4:30pm – 7:00pm before wrestling gets under way at 7:30pm on the field. Fans who purchase a $75 ticket will be able to enter the meet & greet 30 minutes earlier.

Fans with unused Boulders tickets or vouchers, may use them to receive $15 off any seat priced at $35 or higher. You may only use one Boulders ticket/voucher per wrestling ticket.

Rescheduled from July 30th's rain out, the event also features Japanese wrestling legend Jushin Thunder Liger, along with WWE The Big Guy, formerly known as Ryback and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, PLUS the Hardy Boys, and more! Fans who purchased tickets to the July 30th event must hold on to those tickets as they will be good for admittance on August 25th. Those who attended the meet & greet should keep their parking vouchers as well. If you do not have a parking stub from July 30th, you will be charged $10 for parking. New tickets will NOT be issued to those who purchased tickets for the July 30th event.

Making his return to the professional ring, The Big Guy (formerly known as Ryback) will make his first appearance since leaving the WWE. A former Intercontinental Champion, he also appeared in multiple WWE Championship Matches and headlined a number of Pay-Per-View events.

A member of the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame Class, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat enjoyed an illustrious career that spanned nearly four decades. Debuting in the World Wrestling Federation in 1985 and participated in the first ever WrestleMania event. He later went on to defeat Macho Man Randy Savage at WrestleMania III to win the Intercontinental Title, a match which was named Match of the Year in 1987 by multiple outlets.

Also a part of the “Rumble in Rockland” will be Cody Rhodes, an eight-year veteran of the WWE. Son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, he made his debut in 2007, eventually winning the Intercontinental Championship in 2011. Rhodes was also a part of "The Legacy", a trio featuring Randy Orton and Ted DeBiase. During his career in the WWE, he won the Tag Team Titles three separate times, once with Hardcore Holly and twice with DeBiase.

One of the more exciting tag team duos of all-time, Matt and Jeff Hardy, the Hardy Boyz, will also be in action at Palisades Credit Union Park. They won eight Tag Team championships and built a loyal fan base due to their extreme performances in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches as well as ladder matches. They will be competing in solo matches as part of the eight-match card.

A five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champ, and former WWE Heavyweight Champion, Booker T will join the card as well. Booker T won 21 titles with WCW, the most of any wrestler in that promotion, including 11 tag-team titles as part of the duo, Harlem Heat. Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, he is now a color commentator for WWE’s Monday Night RAW pre-show.

Considered one of the greatest and most revolutionary wrestlers of the 1990's, Jushin Thunder Liger continues to be one of the top names in Japanese wrestling. He made his debut in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991, winning the Light Heavyweight Championship at SuperBrawl II. Since then, Liger has been a part of multiple organizations, wowing fans across the globe.
