Lombardi Joins Rockland in 2016

Rockland Adds Slugging Infielder

(POMONA, NY) - The Rockland Boulders announced the signing of rookie infielder Nick Lombardi for the 2016 season. A 2015 graduate of Dartmouth, he will start his first full season of professional ball this summer.

Lombardi played in 13 games for the Las Cruces Vaqueros, driving in just one run with six extra-base hits. A four-year starter at Dartmouth, the 6'1", 200 lbs. infielder was a three-time All-Ivy League selection at third base. He graduated as the programs all-time leader in sacrifice flies, ranking fourth in games played and ninth in RBI.

A native of Hanover, N.H., he was one of 30 nominees for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award, given out to the senior student-athlete who makes a positive impact both on and off the field. Lombardi finished his career slugging .399 in his four seasons with Dartmouth.
