Boulders Roll In Charity Game

(POMONA, NY) - The Rockland Boulders blanked the New York Police Department, 18-0 in the annual preseason exhibition matchup at Palisades Credit Union Park.

Bo Budkevics pitched 4 scoreless innings allowing only one hit.

The Boulders were powered by a grand slam homerun in the first inning by Mike Montville , to cap off a 7 run inning and never looked back. Riley Palmer matched Montville with a grand slam homerun of his own in the bottom of the 3rd.

The Boulders look to take this momentum into the 2016 season, as they begin their quest at defending their 2015 regular season championship.

The Boulders open the season next Thursday, May 19th at home at 7:00pm versus the Sussex Miners.

A portion of tonight’s proceeds are being donated to the Police Benevolent Association. We thank the NYPD for their continued service.
