BOULDERS TAKE SECOND OF THREE GAME SERIES ON DISCO NIGHT

(POMONA, NY)– Junior Arrojo brought his best moves to the game on Disco Night scoring a total of three runs to lead the Boulders to a 5-2 victory over the Jackals.

Bats came alive early in the game for both the Jackals and the Boulders. The Jackals started off first with a 1-0 lead when Michael O'Neill scored on an RBI double from Cory Vaughn. The Boulders quickly answered this in their first at-bat when Junior Arrojo scored on an RBI single from Marcus Nidiffer to tie the game at 1-1 in the first inning.

Pat McKenna scored on an RBI sacrifice fly from Nidiffer in the third to make it 2-1. Then a wild pitch from Jackals pitcher Matt Parish allowed Quinnton Mack to advance to third and Arrojo to run home to make the score 3-1.

The Boulders continued to bring the heat scoring two more runs in the fifth inning to give them a 5-1 lead over the Jackals. Mike Fransoso scored on an RBI double from Quinnton Mack, then shortly after, Arrojo tacked on his third run of the game on another Nidiffer sacrifice fly.

In the fifth inning Daniel Carela came in on relief for David Fisher, who now leads the league in strikeouts with 96.

The Boulders continued to hold onto their lead through the next four innings claiming a 5-2 victory over the Jackals, making this Fisher's third straight win.
