Boulders Game Suspended After Heavy Rainfall

Rockland and New Jersey are left tied in the 5th inning

Pomona, NY- After a four innings in Pomona, the rain could not hold up and the game is left off with a score of 3-3 and will be postponed until Friday September 2nd .

Cory Vaughn scored the first run of the game off of an RBI by Richard Stock. In return, Jared Schlehuber immediately puts Rockland on the board with a lead off solo homerun. 

In the bottom of the third inning Marcus Nidiffer, adds on with a two-run shot bringing Leandro Castro home with him giving Rockland the lead 3-1.

The Jackals answer back right away with a two-run home run from Art Charles.  Due to heavy rainfall, the game has been postponed and left tied 3-3 at the top of the fifth inning.

The game will be played Friday September 2nd at 6:00 p.m at Palisades Credit Union Park as a double header and will be played a full nine innings.  Gates will open at 5:30.  The second game will commence a half hour after the end of the first game and will be seven innings.
