Rockland Signs RHP Chris Carmain

Righty Carmain Joins 2017 Roster

On Wednesday, the Rockland Boulders announced the signing of pitcher Chris Carmain. A 6’3 righty, he enters his first season with the Boulders in 2017, but his fourth overall year in professional baseball.

Carmain made his professional debut in 2014 with the Normal CornBelters of the Independent Frontier League, pitching to a 4-0 record in only four appearances. In the 2015 season, he ranked third in the league with a 2.49 ERA. In Carmain’s last season with the Normal CornBelters, 2016, he ranked fifth in the league with seven wins.

A native of Methuen, Mass., Carmain pitched four seasons at Northeastern University earning All-Colonial Athletic Association Third team honors in 2014.

Carmain and the rest of Rockland Boulders will begin their seventh season on Thursday, May 18th, 2017 vs. Sussex County Miners at 7:00pm at Palisades Credit Union Park. Season Ticket Memberships are currently on-sale and can be purchased by visiting the box office or calling (845) 364-0009.
