The Rockland Boulders announced today the team’s 2017 television broadcast schedule of 15-home games on Optimum channel 77 and 78 in Rockland County.  All games, home and away will also be streamed live for free via CanAmLeague TV.

“Not only did Boulders fans, the best in the CanAm League, vigorously support the team at Palisades Credit Union Park last summer and throughout the postseason, but they also loyally followed the club by way of television and the stream in record numbers”, said Seth Cantor, Assistant General Manager and “Voice of the Boulders”. Cantor continued, “Because of that support, we are once again thrilled to offer dynamic, top-quality broadcast coverage as the intriguing storylines for the seventh season of Boulders baseball unfold!”

The 15-game television schedule begins with the Boulders home opener, a #BouldOpening, on Thursday, May 18 at 7:05pm when the team takes on the Sussex County Miners. Matchups against highly anticipated International Series opponents will also be televised on June 17 and 18, as well as a contest against the Cuban National Baseball Team on Thursday, June 29. In addition, games against league-rivals the New Jersey Jackals, Trois-Rivieres Aigles, Quebec Capitales, as well as, defending CanAm League Champions, the Ottawa Champions will be broadcast.  All games will be televised on Optimum 78 in Rockland, as well as North Rockland 78, except on Saturday, May 20, Saturday, July 15, and Saturday, August 26, which will be shown on Optimum 77 in the County.  The tv deal was finalized in conjunction with Optimum, and the Town of Ramapo.  The Town of Ramapo provides the public access time and sought approval from Altice Cable to utilize it for Boulders Broadcasts. For the full TV broadcast schedule, please see below.

Cantor returns for his seventh season as the lead broadcaster; joined by fourth-year partner, Dan Arndt.  Marc Ernay, in his second season with the club, rejoins the crew for select games. The team’s full broadcast slate will be announced in the coming weeks, with pregame start times and a radio outlet still to be determined.
