Baseball will soon be back in town and the Boulders are getting a jump on the “FunShine” for 2017, as they have announced the majority of their promotional schedule for the summer.

The 2017 season promises to be something special especially since the Boulders will celebrate the arrival of their one-millionth fan to Palisades Credit Union Park some time during the week of July 10th, when the Boulders will host the Quebec Capitales, as well as the New Jersey Jackals.  Plans are in the works to make this celebration one for the record books, including a chance for the millionth fan to win one million dollars.

“It’s hard to imagine as time flies, but it’s true that we will welcome our one-millionth fan through the gates of Palisades Credit Union Park this summer,” said Ken Lehner, President.  “We are proud of the fact that millions of memories have been created at the ballpark since it opened in 2011 and thus we are currently putting the final touches on our plans for the summer of one million fans. Rest assured it will be a blockbuster announcement.”

That’s not all though.  The Boulders will also be celebrating the success of fan favorite Stephen Cardullo and his making the 2017 Opening Day roster of the Colorado Rockies.  The Boulders will pay tribute to Cardullo with special giveaways, such as the “Cardullo Coin”, sponsored by Clarkstown Coin and Jewelry on June 17th.  The 2017 season will also feature the “Caribbean Challenge”, presented by Sprint, where the Boulders will play host to the Dominican National team on Father’s Day Weekend, as well as the Cuban National team June 27th – 29th.  On Father’s Day, lucky dads will be able to participate in a pre-game “Home Run Derby”, with a chance to win great prizes, as well as enjoy a game of catch on the field with their children following the conclusion of the game.

The Boulders plan on having all fans continue to “Experience the FunShine” all season long with other great promotions that will attract and appeal to fans of all ages.  The Boulders will be bringing back the widely popular weekly promotions, such as “Two for Tuesdays”, “Thirsty Thursdays”, featuring $2 Bud Lights and $3 mystery craft beers, fireworks after every Friday and Saturday night home game, with Saturday night fireworks sponsored by Rockland Nissan, and “Pups in the Park”, presented by the Duke of Oil & Tune and “Kids Run the Bases”, presented by Bardonia Pediatrics on Sundays.  Other season staples will be returning as well, such as “B-Green Night”, presented by Suez on June 8th, “Teacher Appreciation Night” on June 15th, “BoulderBird’s Birthday” on June 17th, “Military Appreciation Night” on June 24th, patriotic “Fireworks Extravaganzas” on July 3rd and 4th, and “Star Wars Night” on July 15th, where fans will have a chance to bid on custom made Star Wars jerseys, with all proceeds going to Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center.  The ever popular “Christmas in July”, presented by Christmas Décor will return on July 21st with a visit from everyone’s friend Santa Claus, and “Irish Heritage Night” will return on July 22nd,, with special concert performances by the Cousins Moran and the Narrowbacks.  August 5th, the Boulders will help raise awareness and will welcome their friends from MADD and Rockland County Stop DWI for “Stop DWI Night”.  To close out the regular home season, fans will also have a chance to “throw back” in time with the Boulders for “80’s night”, presented by Ramapo College of New Jersey on August 25th, and “90’s night” on August 26th.
