Over 10,000 Fans Pack Palisades Credit Union Park

With a beautiful weekend and fans hungry for baseball, Palisades Credit Union Park was the place to be, as over 10,000 fans came thru the gates for Opening Weekend with the Boulders.

The season started on a high note on Thursday night for Opening Day, as over 4,000 fans came to see the Boulders beat the Sussex County Miners by a score of 10-3.  After the game, fans were treated to a beautiful fireworks display, sponsored by Rockland Nissan.

On Saturday, the fans came out in droves again, this time getting in on the scheduled doubleheader, that started at 6:30.  Again, over 4,000 fans experienced a Boulders sweep of the two games, as well as another fireworks show, sponsored by Rockland Nissan.

Sunday afternoon saw another 2,000+ fans come to the ballpark to take part in "Pups in the Park", as well as "Kids Run the Bases", presented by Bardonia Pediatrics.  The Boulders won in walk off fashion, 5-4, and completed the 5 game sweep.

The Boulders return home this Friday, May 26th, at 7pm to start a 3 game series against Quebec.  Great seats are available by calling (845) 364-0009, visiting the box office, or sliding over to Rocklandboulders.com
