Boulders Back for Big Battles
Quebec, New Jersey Invade Rockland in First Place Showdown
After taking three-of-four against Sussex County, the Boulders are back on track, extending their first place lead to three games in the Can Am League.
The 2nd place Quebec Capitales visit Tuesday night to start a three-game set, with first pitch slated for 6:30 pm. On Wednesday, an 11:00 am Camp Day matinee is in store, with the series wrapping up at 7:00 pm on Thirsty Thursday with $2 drafts at select locations as well as our weekly $3 mystery craft beer (while supplies last!), sponsored by Bud Light.
When that series concludes, the Red, White, and Blue look for revenge when the rival New Jersey Jackals come in for a three-game weekend set. Friday's game starts at 7:00 pm and after the fireworks on the field, hang around for our post-game Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Rockland Nissan.
Saturday promises to be one of the biggest nights of the year as Rockland's Team looks to "Use the Force" on Star Wars Night, benefiting Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. The 6:30 start will include Star Wars Themed Boulders jerseys, which will be available for auction and another Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Rockland Nissan. Sunday caps the homestand with a 5:00 pm start with canine fans welcome for Pups in the Park day, presented by the Duke of Oil and Tune, and after the game, Kids 13-and-under can run the bases, sponsored by Bardonia Pediatrics.
A lot of excitement is in store and the Boulders are also expected to welcome our One Millionth Fan through the gates sometime this week, with great prizes available for the lucky fan (more details to follow!)
