The Rockland Boulders lost to the Quebec Capitales for the second straight game by a score of 4-1.  Ari Kaufman (0-3) pitched 6 innings and gave up three runs. Arik Sikula (7-3) was the winning pitcher after going 6.1 innings and surrendered just one unearned run.

The first run of the game came in the second inning when Quebec’s Maxx Tissenbaum scored after a dropped third strike.  In the fifth, Yurisbel Gracial homered with Philippe Craig-St-Louis on base to increase the lead to 3-0.

Rockland finally got on the board in the seventh inning starting with an Aaron Wilson walk.  The next batter, Kelvin Ramous singled and Wilson scored on an error by Craig-St-Louis.  However, Quebec got the run back when Tissenbaum doubled home Gracial in the eighth. The Boulders were unable to score in the ninth.

The Boulders will try to avoid the sweep tomorrow before returning home for a series with the Trois-Rivieres Aigles.
