Rylan Sandoval Also Joins Boulders

The Boulders announced some roster moves on Tuesday, acquiring the contractual rights to slugging infielder Conrad Gregor in exchange for Daniel Carela, and also adding infielder Rylan Sandoval. To make room for Sandoval, starting pitcher Justin Topa was placed on the disabled list. Topa was forced from his start on opening day due to an undisclosed injury.

Gregor, who hit 12 homers and drove in 75 runs with the Jackals last season, started this year with the Boston Red Sox' AA affiliate in Portland before his recent release. Sandoval played the last two seasons in New Jersey, totaling 12 home runs and 102 RBI while providing the versatility of playing multiple positions in the infield.
