Cody Regis and Marcus Nidiffer combined for four hits and three RBI to fuel the Boulders in a 3-2 victory over the Québec Capitales in game one of Wednesday’s doubleheader. Regis hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, and Nidiffer's two-RBI double drove in the game-winners in the sixth. Matt Kostalos worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the final inning to pick up the save for winning pitcher Marc Huberman.

Six Boulders recorded hits in game two, but Rockland fell 10-4 after the Capitales took the lead early with a four-run top of the first. Cody Regis and JC Rodriguez both homered for Rockland, while Mikael Mogues threw three scoreless innings of relief.

Rockland concludes the three game series against Québec tomorrow at Palisades Credit Union Park, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
