Rockland dropped the first game of their series against Quebec Monday night. Alex Herceg started off the fifth inning with a double and later scored on a sac fly by Kevin Krause. In the seventh, Herceg launched a solo homer, scoring the second Rockland run. However, that was all Rockland could muster on the evening, and a five-run second inning for the Capitales was more than enough to take care of the Boulders.
