Six Boulders drove in runs in Rockland’s 10-8 victory over the New Jersey Jackals on Friday.

Rockland gave up the first run of the game in the top of the third to fall behind 1-0, but the Boulders retaliated quickly, scoring six in the bottom of the third to take a five-run lead, 6-1. Jared McDonald, Mikael Mogues and JC Rodriguez each hit singles and Kevin Krause walked before Cody Regis struck out for the first out. Marcus Nidiffer then walked and Conrad Gregor singled before Mike Montville hit a sacrifice fly for the second out. Conor Bierfeldt then doubled and McDonald grounded out in his second at bat of the inning for the third out.

Rodriguez and Regis each hit home runs in the fourth inning to score three more runs and give Rockland the permanent lead.

The Boulders and Jackals continue with game two of the three-game series Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.
