Starting with this Friday's game against the Salina Stockade (June 22), the Boulders will now play all weeknight games with a 7:00 pm start time, except for July 3rd and 4th, which will remain at their scheduled 6:30 start.
The Boulders had experimented with an earlier 6:30 start time for Monday through Friday games since the start of the 2018 season, but will now revert to the traditional later start for the remainder of the season.
"Our goal was to give our younger fans and families a chance to see a whole game without it getting too late, especially on school nights," noted Team President Shawn Reilly. "But we've always committed to be responsive to our fans and many have indicated that the extra time will make it easier for them to arrive in time for the first pitch."
"With the school year coming to an end, we felt that the timing was right to make the change," Reilly added.
The Boulders return to Palisades Credit Union Park on Friday, June 22, to host their first-ever series against Salina, which has previously played in both the Pecos League and the American Association. Tickets are available online or at the box office, or call 845-364-0009 for more information.
