The Boulders fell in extra innings to the Aigles 9-8 on Saturday night. Seven Boulder batters recorded at least one hit. Marcus Nidiffer had three, including a homer and four RBIs. In a game that lasted three hours and eleven minutes, the Boulders jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first but it wasn't enough for Travis Hissong. The righty couldn't get past the second inning, allowing 6 earned runs on six hits.

Mike Montville helped the red, white, and blue respond with three in the fourth on a home run, which tied the game at seven.

Rockland would take a one run lead by the seventh but it was short-lived as Trios Rivieres would come back with a run in the 8th to tie, and the game-winning run in the 10th.

Jamie Keefe's team look to take the rubber game of the series tomorrow at 1:05pm EST.
