Matt Dacey hit a two-run home run in his first at bat as a Boulder as the Boulders topped the Québec Capitales 5-4 to win the four-game series.

Dacey was added to the Boulders roster before the game to fill the open spot left by moving Aaron Wilson—who was injured after making a catch in center field on Saturday—to the disabled list.

After Dacey gave the Boulders a 2-1 lead in the third, Conor Bierfeldt hit a solo home run two batters later to increase the lead to 3-1.

Marcus Nidiffer hit a solo home run in the sixth inning, and then Bierfeldt hit his second solo home run of the night in the eighth inning.

Garrett Johnson pitched six strong innings to back the offensive efforts of the red, white and blue, allowing two runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out nine.

The Boulders are home again Monday for game one of a three-game series against the Sussex County Miners. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
