The Rockland Boulders dominated the New Jersey Jackals 8-0 on Thursday night. JC Rodriguez opened the scoring in the third, mauling a two-run shot out to left field. In the fifth, Rockland exploded for six runs, started by RBI’s off the bats of Matt Dacey and JC Rodriguez. Marcus Nidiffer brought two more runs around on a triple, and Cody Regis culminated the frame with a two-run bomb that fell just short of the right field concourse, making it 8-0. Though New Jersey tacked on two runs in the seventh via a David Harris home run, that would be all New Jersey could muster on the night.
