The Boulders dropped their opener in Quebec 8-1 on Tuesday night. Their only run came in the second when Kevin Krause doubled in Marcus Nidiffer.

Brad Schaenzer only lasted three innings, giving up five runs (all earned) on seven hits and two walks.

Rockland left a total of nine runners on and generated only five hits.
