Boulders outfielder Mike Montville crashed seven home runs in as many games to earn the Can Am League's Pointstreak Player of the Week honors for the week ending August 19.

In his third full season in Rockland, Montville has found his power stroke, going deep in five of the team's seven contests, including two two-homer games, to tie for the Boulders' lead with Cody Regis at 21 each, tied for second in the league. His 13 RBI boosted him into the team lead in that category with 59, currently third among league leaders.

Highlighting the surge was Sunday's 10th-inning walkoff blast in which Montville crushed the first pitch of the frame to secure a 3-2 victory over Ottawa. One of eight Boulders in double-figures in homers, Mike has contributed to the team total of 134 on the season, shattering the league mark that Rockland set with 115 a year ago.

The Boulders hit the road for a four game series in Sussex County on Tuesday through Thursday before returning to Palisades Credit Union Park for the final home games of the season, hosting the New Jersey Jackals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
