Conor Bierfeldt's second two-run home run of the game - in the top of the 10th inning - pushed across the winning runs as the Rockland Boulders captured a 7-5 victory over the Ottawa Champions at RCGT Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario. The victory secures third place for the Boulders, setting up a playoff rematch of last season's Can Am Finals against the Quebec Capitals.

Bierfeld's 19th homer of the season, a one-out shot, pushed across the deciding tallies as both he and Kevin Krause led the offensive attack with three hits each. After Ottawa rallied with four in the eighth to erase a 5-1 deficit, Trey Haley worked a scoreless frame to earn the win with Kyle Hanson coming on for the save.

The regular season wraps up with Monday's series finale and the Boulders will head home to open the first round against Quebec on Wednesday, September 5, at 7 pm at Palisades Credit Union Park. The first two games of the best-of-5 will be played in Rockland, with the remainder of the series headed to Canada. The Boulders will be looking for revenge from last season's finals when the Capitales took the league crown in a three-game sweep. In the other match-up, the top seeded Sussex County Miners will meet the Trois-Rivieres Aigles.
