The 2018 season came to a close for the Rockland Boulders with Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Quebec Capitales at Stade Canac in Quebec City. The hosts won the best-of-5 series, three games to one, and will advance to play the winner of Sunday's Game 5 between Sussex County and Trois-Rivieres for the Can Am Championship.

Home runs provided the early scoring as solo shots from Quebec's Zach Wilson and Kalian Sams offset a two-run shot from Boulders outfielder Mike Montville to tie the score at 2-2 through four innings. The visitors jumped back on top with Conrad Gregor's solo shot in the fifth but the defending league champs were not to be denied.

A pair of Rockland errors and three hits added up to a decisive four-run sixth inning rally for the Boulders' offense with three hits on the night.
