Signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Kentucky as a fifth year senior.
Impressed with rookie level Greeneville with a .303 average and eleven home runs.
Signed by the Angels in 2011 and placed on their A affiliate, Cedar Rapids, where hit 6 home runs, but lowered his batting average more and striking out more, earning himself a release.
In 2012, he then signed with Traverse City in the Frontier League, where he played until signing with the Boulders in 2014.
He recorded a career best 22 home runs, 93 RBI and 3 triples last season. His OPS was also the highest it had been for a full season during his career.
Older brother played baseball at Wofford, and his parents played basketball at D-3 Emory and Henry College.
