Jamie Keefe #26·Manager

Biography:

Keefe will enter his fourth season as Manager of the Rockland Boulders, leading the team to consecutive pennants in 2014 and 2015. In each of his three prior seasons, the Boulders have seen in increase in wins, two playoff appearances, and the franchise's first ever Can-Am League title in 2014.

The championship run in 2014 also saw Keefe earn Manager of the Year honors, before winning the award for a Can-Am record third time in 2015. In 2015, Keefe also earned his 600th career managerial win, an 8-2 home win over Ottawa on September 3rd.

Under his tuteledge, the Boulders franchise has seen numerous all-star selections, countless records broken, and watched five players get their contracts purchased by Major League organizations, including the 2015 Can-Am League MVP and Independent Baseball Player of the Year, Joe Maloney.

A native of Rochester, NH, Keefe played nine years of professional baseball after being drafted right out of high school, in the third round by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Primarily an infielder, Keefe made it all the way to AAA in 1997 before finishing his career in independent baseball with the Chillicothe Paints, Chillicothe, OH of the Frontier League in 2000.

After retiring as a player, Keefe was hired as the Chillicothe Paints field manager 2001. For over a decade he led teams in the Frontier and Can Am Leagues. Keefe has compiled well over 400 wins in his career on the field.

In 2010, Keefe moved from the Midwest closer to home in New England. In his first of three seasons in Pittsfield, Keefe helped lead the Pittsfield Colonials (CanAm League) into the playoffs. The summer of 2011 brought another winning season to Pittsfield under Keefe's management and another visit to the playoffs. Those wins and his skills as a leader and executive are a few of the many reasons Keefe was named the CanAm League's Manager of the Year in 2011.

Keefe's career took a turn toward collegiate baseball in 2012 when he was hired as GM/Field Manager of the Pittsfield Suns in its inaugural season in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.

Jamie has two sons Brigham and Brooks.
