Devin Harris signed with the Rockland Boulders on July 3rd, after being released by Laredo of the American Association. 2016 is his first season out of affiliated baseball, and his stint with the Boulders is his first time spent in the Can-Am League.

After initially being drafted in the 8th round in 2009 by the Baltimore Orioles, Harris didn't sign and was drafted the next year in the 48th round by the San Francisco Giants. He spent six years in that organization, once working his way up to AAA in 2012. His best season came in 2013 when with High-A San Jose, Harris hit .258 with 23 home runs, driving in 84 runs, all career bests.

In high school, Harris earned eleven varsity letters with four each in baseball and basketball and also earning three in football. Upon attending East Carolina University, he intended to be a pre-med major. Before his senior season, he was selected to the pre-season All-Conference team.
