The Rockland Boulders announced the addition of outfielder Leandro Castro Wednesday afternoon. Castro has spent much of his career in the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system before spending the 2015 season with the New Jersey Jackals and part of the 2016 season in Laredo, Texas with the Laredo Lemurs. Castro was named a Milb.com Organization All-Star in 2010 and 2012 while with the Lakewood Blue Claws and the Reading Phillies. A native of the Dominican Republic, Castro has spent his winters playing for Les Estrellas de Oriente of the Dominican Winter League.
